LORIINI

‘Loriini’ is a lively designed collection of a chair and side table inspired by colorful world of exotic but endangered birds. After the first variations consisting in green, orange, and yellow, a new series added in copper-color body with hand-woven seat.

Copper structure is dedicated to Anatolia, which stands out as the region where copper was discovered, used, and processed. Sitting part consists of a special fabric produced by hand with the punch needle technique.

‘Loriini’ is a stylization of the bird figure into a simple and geometric form. Behind modern lines and clean finishes, it contrasts the visuality of traditional craftsmanship with a strong texture.
